Photos of Mirei-san "Kansai version"

WARNING: Many pictures (35)!

I finally got around to taking pictures! First of all, a BIG THANKS to Joseph Tsai (Tokyo Hunter) for picking this up! I recommend his service to all who are looking to purchase hard to find items. I'm definitely going to do business with him again.

I read Super Rat's great tutorial on taking photos of figures. It's very informative and easy to understand. Give it a read if you haven't already!

Anyways, this is my first attempt at figure photography. I've done some product photography at work, but not with a nice (imo) setup. I'll try to apply what I've learned next time!

There are plenty of reviews for this awesome figure, so I'll keep my review short and sweet!

GET IT if you haven't already ;].

The quality is "Grade-S", the sculpt is extremely well proportioned and fleshed-out, and the seams are not painfully obvious(just ever-so-slightly). I have not been able to find many other pictures of the Kansai version, so I hope that this will be of interest for those who are looking. I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to photos, so please forgive me (-人-;)(;-人-)!

Some photoshopped pics. The third picture almost looks like an illustration! cool huh?

I did a new setup. I think I still have to work on the lighting.

Lol, silly PG Wing Zero!

Photo-shoot on the stairs!

Just Had To Do It. Hot pink box, hot pink illustration book...you just gotta have the hot pink! Actually, it didn't turn out so well. I can probably tweak it in photoshop.

The pictures taken with the black background actually came out way better, imo.

Techno- Witch Min

My Techno- witch named Min. She has a potion cannon which doubles as a "flying broomstick". The cannon/broomstick is called "Leviathan" and is based off of a motorcycle design. She can make a variety of potions and throw them into her cannon to change the type of ammunition. Her gauntlet's fingers can extend kinda like Ivy's weapon from Soul Caliber.

Min also likes angels, so that's why you see so many wing accessories. She has a pet raven named Karara, who you can see hanging from her hat, that thinks he is a bat.

I did this drawing in Painter X. Expect a colored version soon!

Ichigeki! one

I've been reading many good blogs lately, so I've decided to make my own! I'm also going to use this opportunity to practice web development skills, share my interests, and maybe make a few bucks on the side.

For the time being, I will be concentrating on covering Art/Illustration and anime. You might see tidbits of video games, pvc figures, cars (often rotary related), and maybe some breakdancing.
